As we celebrate the successful conclusion of the 15th BRICS Summit, we eagerly anticipate the upcoming 9th BRICS Parliamentary Forum (BRICS PF) Assembly. Scheduled to take place from September 27 to 29, 2023, at Emperor's Palace in Gauteng Province,this assembly holds immense importance. Chaired by the South African Parliament, the BRICS PF Assembly brings together legislative bodies from BRICS nations to oversee the translation of Summit decisions into actionable policies.
We are pleased to announce that, in light of the expanded BRICS family, the invitation to participate in the BRICS Parliamentary Forum Assembly will also be extended to the parliaments of the newly admitted member states. This extension of collaboration signifies a commitment to enhancing inter-parliamentary cooperation and ensuring that the deliberations and outcomes of the Summit are effectively translated into tangible progress.
The Presiding Officers emphasize their confidence that the successful deliberations and outcomes of the BRICS Summit will undoubtedly inspire and set a positive precedent for the forthcoming BRICS Parliamentary Forum Assembly.
